7 Drug Ring Suspects Appear in Court

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Seven suspects allegedly involved in a Western Slope meth ring appeared in court Wednesday morning.
Francisca Arias, Carlos Delfin, Christopher Franklin, David Ortego, Kenneth Higgs, Kevin Smith and Saul Delfin-Lopez are all facing multiple charges.
Some of the charges include felony money laundering, felony possession of a meth, child abuse, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and weapons charges.
The eighth suspect Dante Delfin appeared in court Tuesday, but his charges were not immediately available.
The eight people arrested last week were a part of an ongoing investigation by the Western Colorado Drug Task Force.
Most of the suspects are due back in court in November.
