6 Teens Killed, 2 Hurt in Northeast Ohio SUV Crash

WARREN, Ohio (AP) - The state highway patrol in northeast Ohio says eight teenagers involved in a deadly crash took an SUV without permission and were speeding before the vehicle slammed into a guardrail and flipped over into a swampy pond.

Five boys and the young woman driving were killed Sunday.

The two teens who survived freed themselves from the submerged SUV and ran a quarter-mile home to call 911.
