Multiple Bodies Found in Durango

DURANGO, Colo.- Three bodies were found by La Plata County sheriff's officials, all in one day. An investigation is now underway.

The incident happened near a home in La Plata County near the New Mexico border on Highway 140.

A man was found hanging in a barn in what appeared to be a possible suicide.

Officials also found a foot protruding from freshly dug dirt near a riverbank and recovered another man's body.

Upon further investigation, they found a third body, a woman's, in another Durango home.

Officials believe the bodies are connected and an investigation is underway.
