OURAY, Colo.- Folks from all over will be strapping on their snow shoes and adventuring to Ouray this weekend, for this year's Ouray Ice Festival.

Officials say the cold temperatures and expert farming have made for excellent ice conditions this year.

The festival is the world's premier ice climbing event and the majority of the activities are free to the public.

The festival starts on Thursday and runs until Sunday, and will be held at the Ouray Ice Park on County Road 361.

For more information on the festival, go to ourayicepark.com.
