COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) Two men were injured when a man attacked the boyfriend of a Colorado Springs woman with a sword.

Authorities say Sean Knapp went to Kenneth Sipes' apartment with a samurai sword on Tuesday. Police say Knapp swung the sword at Sipes' face when Sipes opened his door. Sipes caught the blade in both hands and was able wrestle the sword away.

Police say both men were bleeding extensively and were taken to a hospital. Authorities say the investigation is continuing.
