2 Children Killed in Stabbing Incident

FALCON, Colo. El Paso County Sheriff's investigators say two children are dead after being stabbed and the man suspected of doing it has passed away as well.

According to our sister station KCNC, the stabbing incident happened late Wednesday night at an equestrian center near the town of Falcon, near Colorado Springs.

They found Scarlett Kane, 1, dead at the scene and her brother, Ryan Willhite, 3, with stab wounds as well. Ryan was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Officials say the suspect, Ethan Courrau, 22, is not the father of the two children and he is also being reported dead.

The investigation is in the very early stages. We will continue to bring you updates on this story.
