Two Car Accident Slows Traffic on Patterson

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A two car accident made traffic slow going during the noon time hour Tuesday along Patterson Road.

The crash occurred just west of the Patterson Road and First Street intersection just before noon Tuesday morning.

The Grand Junction Police Department says a woman driving a car rear ended another person's vehicle who was stopped at a red light.

The woman was cited for careless driving and taken to the hospital.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, but believe a medical incident could have caused the accident.
