Arrest Made in Racquet Club Apartment Shooting

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection to a shooting that happened at the Racquet Club Apartments in Grand Junction Monday night.

Officials say Julio Castro Quinones faces charges of criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree and assault in the first degree.

Quinones is being held in the Mesa County Detention Facility without bond, and officials are not releasing his booking photo at this time.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Monday.

Officials discovered one man had been seriously injured after being shot in the chest area; at last report he was listed in fair condition.

Officials say this case remains active and an investigation is ongoing.

They need to burn down those apartments aling with all of Dawn Drive & those ratty trailers behind Sonics on North...that's where all the funding for the schools are- ALL those dang kids NOT attending school sitting round smoking pot & shoplifting....
