GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo. A nine-month narcotics investigation has led to the felony arrests of 14 people in Garfield County and Pitkin County. Seven suspects are still at large with active arrest warrants and are wanted by law enforcement officials. TRIDENT, the Two Rivers Drug Enforcement, has been working on the case.

Undercover police officers conducted controlled purchases of cocaine, ecstasy, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, prescription drugs, one assault rifle and one .38 pistol.

Glenwood Springs Police Chief, Terry Wilson, said, "I see it as a huge win for the community, definitely. These folks were generating such a large volume of illegal activity, if you total it all up. Other people get their neighborhoods back."

One of the suspects arrested, Evance Grandberry, was discovered to be the source of supply for several suspects in the investigation. However, Chief Wilson said all of the suspects are not necessarily associated with each other.

Amendment 64 supporters have opened the door for all other illicit drugs. It's a huge slippery slope, they got pot legalized so why stop there, by their arguement everything else should be legal too. If you don't agree blame them. Once pandora's box is opened it's impossible to close it.

Why are these people being prosecuted? What makes them any different than pot users? Why can't they have their drugs of choice? How hypicritical, pot users got what they wanted. I'm just saying.
