GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The +1 Gallery hosted a silent auction preview Friday night in preparation for a benefit they'll be holding next week.

All of the pieces up for auction are handmade and 90 percent of funds will benefit the Ariel Clinical Services, a program that assists foster children.

"It's the ideal situation for me in that I get to raise awareness for a good cause and I get to showcase some work that people might not otherwise see," said Kristian Hartter, the owner of +1 Gallery.

The main event, which will be a silent auction and fashion show, will take place on February 9.

It will be held in the Alpine Bank Building on 225 North 5th Street.

For more information, call Hartter at (970) 216-7338.
