GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Police make an arrest in connection with the armed robbery of a Grand Junction service station this past weekend.

According to Grand Junction Police Department, 30-year-old James Rucker of Grand Junction is in the Mesa County Jail. He is facing charges including aggravated robbery, felony menacing, theft and possession of weapons by a previous offender.

Officers arrested Rucker in the 1,700 block of North Avenue earlier Wednesday morning.

Authorities say Rucker had already been identified as a possible suspect, and the clothing he was wearing Wednesday morning matched clothing worn by the suspect during the robbery.

Officers say they also found a fully-loaded handgun on Rucker, which matches the description of the one used in the robbery.
