Jeff, The Viet Nam war was entered fully on the false report of a seaman on a destroyer off the coast of No. Viet Nam, the USS Maddox. "Democrat President Lyndon B. Johnson", committed the United States fully on that false report. And, in case you didn't know, it cost the lives of over 58,000 Americans, several of my friends included. Over 8 yrs. the Bush admin. spent 4 trillion dollars. The last two yrs. was under a dem. controlled congress. Obama spent 5.4 trillion in less than three yrs. The dems. cried bloody murder when Bush had a deficeit of 600 billion, obama has had a deficeit of 1.5 trillion for three yrs. and the dems. don't say a word. Yes there were suicides, but nothing near what there is under obama. WWII and Korea had the same thing. Obama has tied the hands of our warriors, out of sheer stupidity, and they are being killed because of it. Add that to the nonsense going on at home because of obama, and you get an idea of what they are going through.

The last thing in the world for me is to want to see anybody be shot. Remember I'm a bleeding heart liberal, I can't stand the site of people poisoning water, starting wars on false pretenses, treating the homeless like less than human beings. I'm pretty sure that the GOP are the one's who are the Warmongers! And seriously? What, were there no suicides by military personnel during the Bush years? Floyd give it up, you come from the party of wannabe bullies, but since you have no dog in the fight, you have to sit back and take it like we all did during the Bush years. Elections do have consequences! Have a nice day! Oh and nobody is coming for your guns. smh

Jeff, you speak like you want to see the military fire on their own people, Clinton got a resounding NO, when he asked our military if they would fire on the American people. You think obama is so popular our troops would fire on the American people? It isn't the American people who are causing our troops to commit suicide, it's obamas policys, and the troops know it.

I love how the same people who know we have the biggest baddest military in the world, can take them on w/ their bb guns. Too funny! NEWS FLASH! If the feds really wanted your guns they would have absolutely no problem taking them. FOOLS!! In this corner we have the finest G.J. Tea Party Patriots in all of the West and their bb guns vs. A few Little ol Apache Helicopters accompanied by an astonishing amount of firepower! Give it a rest! SMH...But I'm sure it won't be long they will be marching downtown trying to intimidate those who thought the wild west was long past. Reminds me of show and tell in 2nd grade.

So, how many of the local gun dealers have been selling Asault weapons (fully automatic) over the counter? The vast majority of guns sold to the vast majority of citizens are NOT, asault weapons. "Asault weapon", is what the dems and media uses to villify anyone who owns a rifle that holds magazines. If you haven't noticed, that includes bolt action rifles as well. Thanks for the info on buying fully automatic weapons, I just don't have any plans to buy one, I had all the fun I wanted with them in Viet Nam.

Sorry Floyd, wrong again as always. Class III weapons i.e. machine guns, silencers, SBR's short barreled rifles and other destructive devices have and still are available to the law abiding citizen on a form 4 and will cost you a two hundred dollar transfer tax for every weapon that is transferred plus what ever the cost the class tree dealer charges to run the paperwork. The National Firearms Act ("NFA"), 72nd Congress, Sess. 2, ch. 757, 48 Stat. 1236, enacted on June 26, 1934, currently codified as amended as 26 U.S.C. ch. 53, is an Act of Congress in the United States that, in general, imposes a statutory excise tax on the manufacture and transfer of certain firearms and mandates the registration of those firearms. The Act was passed shortly after the repeal of Prohibition. The NFA is also referred to as Title II of the Federal firearms laws. The Gun Control Act of 1968 ("GCA") is Title I. Floyd, now you know the real story!
State worries said on Friday, Feb 8 at 10:03 AM
It's not the feds we need to be concerned about. It's the knuckleheads in the Colo state legislature. Remember.... the Blue Man Group holds both houses and the governors's chair.

Those in congress, if anyone, should know what an assault weapon is. But, anymore, they just follow the lead of someone who doesn't know. FYI, an assault weapon is FULLY AUTOMATIC, they are never sold over the counter, they are only sold by government agencys headed by Eric Holder. And used on Americans.
