Wine Country Inn Featured on Price is Right

PALISADE, Colo. This New Year's day the Wine Country Inn is featured on the Price is Right.

This is the second year in a row the local hotel is featured on the popular game show.

Hotel officials are excited to promote not only the hotel but the town of Palisade and the Grand Valley. They also say they're still in touch with last year's winners, who reported to have a great time here in the Western Slope.

Joe Scanlon, general manager at the Wine Country Inn, said, "Western Colorado is one of those little forgotten spots but one of the most beautiful in this great state. Both with the vineyards, the agritourism, I think it lends itself to a great experience for a guest."

The Wine Country Inn was featured on the Price is Right Tuesday morning right here on NewsChannel 5.

One lucky lady not only won a six-day trip to Palisade, but also a trip to Austin, Texas.
