Walmart Not Too Worried About Possible Protesters

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Some Walmart employees may not be showing up to work on Black Friday, one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

A union-backed group is encouraging worker walk-outs. The complaints stem from the retail store beginning their Black Friday sale at 8 p.m on Thursday.

Protesters believe the early start is one more example of Walmarts disconnect with workers.

Newschannel 5 received a statement from Walmart officials, who don't seem too concerned. Part of that statement said:

"We don't think these actions by the UFCW will have any impact on our Black Friday plans whatsoever. These so-called protests involve a handful of associates at a handful of stores."

Hmmmmmm, I didn't know those fellows who crashed the planes into the twin towers were conservatives. I thought they were Arab-Muslims. Silly me. Thanks for clearing that up Western Slope.

The Truth says "Union dues are now used to fund corrupt liberal candidates" Really now! Why is it only corrupt liberal candidates? You mean to tell me that all the Conservative candidates didn't profit off the unions and the military industrial complex that boomed during the wars! Seems to me the conservatives pushed this country into the wars and then profited of of them! Look up the Carlyle group, they are a huge military contractor, guess who sat on the board of directors, poppy Bush, Bandar Bush aka the Saudi prince! The Bush family made Billions of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars,,BILLIONS! In fact if you research it, you will find names like Paul Wolfowitz, Don Rumsfeld,and other Republican war mongers, they were all involved in profiting off the wars! For a name like the truth, you sure can't tell it now can you! But why would I expect anything different from a no-nothing conservative! ditto to The Truth and Anonymous! Unions no longer have the interest of the workers welfare, only the money and power they have... which IS destroying this country. The idiots who want to be unionized simply don't understand that the pay raises they might get...? will go to pay for their union dues and they will be in servitude to the union bosses.

When unions started long ago they were a good thing. In recent history unions have evolved into a corrupt entity that is destroying the county. Union dues are now used to fund corrupt liberal candidates whether workers agree or not. Union bosses live like kings and could care less about workers. As fir living on 12 dollars an hour, people should be thankful for having that, in this horrible economy. Current unions should be disbanded and rebuilt to serve their original purpose.

Anonymous' Unions built this Country, do some history research! The Unions built the middle class, they pulled this country out of the great depression, they gave folks a living wage! I have no doubt most family have benefited from unions past and present. Greedy corporations and CEO's are the one's destroying this Country not the unions! Could you live on 12 bucks an hour? I don't think so.......
