Sal Pace Speaks About Helping Agricultural Community

by KREX News Room
by Amanda Brandeis

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Sal Pace, a 3rd District candidate, was in Grand Junction this weekend talking about his proposal to help out Colorado's agricultural community.

Pace has proposed a bill that aims to end the inheritance tax, also known as the death tax, for Colorado's agricultural community.

Pace said, "It can be a lot of cash a kid has to pay out when they inherit the land. That means that a lot of times they have to subdivide the land, they have to break it up. That means that the land is no longer an agricultural production and we are splitting up beautiful farmland in Colorado."

If passed, farmers and ranchers would receive a tax cut when their children agree to keep the land in agricultural use for at least 10 years after inheriting it.

Pace's proposal passed through the House last week and goes to the Senate next week.

Today marks the 3rd year anniversary of the Democrat controlled Senate not doing a budget. These socialists need to be voted out and charged for their criminal acts of treason.

The best way we can help farmers is to vote out the party hell-bent on destroying this nation as soon as possible.
