Mesa County Mails Out Property Tax Statements

MESA COUNTY, Colo. The Mesa County Treasurer has announced that the 2013 Property Tax Troll has been certified. Officials anticipate property tax statements will start arriving in mailboxes the week of Jan. 21, 2013.

While residents are waiting for theirs to arrive, they are encouraged to utilize the web to review property taxes owing for 2012 and payable in 2013.

Colorado law requires payments in two equal installments. The first being due on or before the last day of February, and the second installment to be paid no later than June 15.

Residents paying their taxes in full, a single payment is due on or before the last day of April.
