GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Local teens battled it out against the Grand Junction Police Department, but didn't break any laws in the process!

Teens and police officers duked it out over the video game Rock Band. The tournament consisted of teams of two to four people.

Mesa County Libraries hosted the event, giving teens a fun way to get to know local law enforcement.

Shanna Smith, a teen librarian, said, "But I definitely think it puts a positive spin on the police, as you know, people they can go up to in the community."

Mesa County Libraries say they also held the competition in conjunction with Teen Tech Week, a national event.

The competition was held at Cafe V, located on Fifth Street and Belford.
