GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Gene Taylor's Sporting Goods is moving to a new location, but exactly where is a mystery. Owners say they have some ideas of where they may move to, but nothing has been finalized.

They say their new store will be smaller; they also say they hope to stay in central Grand Junction.

They hope to be moved into a new location by mid-December.

Owner Tony Taylor said, "We've got tons of fixtures and things like that for sale. We've got to clean up; we've got to get rid of a lot of stuff because we can't just take it all with us. Close to 55 years of business comes with 55 years of accumulating things."

They will be focusing on selling only ski and snowboarding equipment this winter.

To get ready for the move, store owners are inviting the public to buy their products at discount.

Ski and snowboarding gear is 25 to 50 percent off. The rest of their products are marked down 50 percent.
