GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. On Saturday over 100 people applied to be a part of the Grand Junction Rockies' family. A job fair was held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and the front offices at Suplizio field.

Officials say they're looking to fill about 70 positions, including concessions, ushers, ticketing, security and merchandise.

Rockies officials say the fan's experience is a top priority and that a good staff makes that possible.

Stephanie Hagen, Grand Junction operations manager, said, "Every part of the customer experience is important. Of course being here to watch the game is the focus, but how long you stand in line for food, how long it takes to get a beer, whether or not the person greeting you at the game was friendly, is very very very important."

Officials say they look forward to being one of the Grand Valley's largest summer employers. They also tell NewsChannel 5 that improvements for this season include more available concessions for customers.
