Grand Junction, Colo.
Western Colorado veterans are putting on a show of their own. The Grand Junction VA Hospital is hosting its 13th annual Veterans Creative Arts Festival. Close to thirty local veterans submitted pieces of art ranging from paintings and sculptures to musical recordings. The arts festival is part of a large nationwide event, and winners will go on to compete against other veterans across the country.
If you would like to see the veterans’ artwork for yourself, you can stop by the VA Medical Center on North Avenue. The artwork will be on display in Building A from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.n. Wednesday and Thursday.
