Members of News Channel 5 stop by a local elementary school to read to the students. Tuesday afternoon, our very own Keira Bresnahan, Matt Bill, and John Carrol read Dr. Seuss books to second graders at Chipeta Elementary. The students enjoyed some of Dr. Seuss’s classics from Green Eggs and Ham to If I Ran The Zoo.

Teachers say they appreciate the volunteers because it gives the kids more incentive to keep reading.

Doctor Seuss died in 1991, he would have been 106 on Tuesday.
