“It is possible to live to 120, 150. It’s all about your genetic potential,” says natupathic doctor Christopher Lepisto.
What if you could double your life span and reverse the aging process? Some alternative healers say they may have found the way.
“Aging can not only be stopped but can actually be reversed,” adds Lepisto. And it’s easier than one may think. “It starts with the diet, getting enough sleep and exercise, sun exposure.”
It’s a concept called “Healthy Aging,” combating degenerative diseases that lead to death. “These are diseases like heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s,” explains Dr. Scott Rollins of Integrative Medicine Center in Grand Junction.
Diseases that good nutrition alone can’t stop.
“These diseases happen because there is a decline in hormone production,” says Dr. Rollins.
“Now, there may be room for supplements, and sometimes hormones to be added,” Lepisto adds.
Some doctors also say aging is due, in part, to the decline of human growth hormone that grows cells, bones, muscles, and keeps us looking young.
“From the time a person is 20 to when they are 60, their growth hormone levels decline 80%, making it harder for the body to repair itself,” explains Dr. Joe Wezensky of Kokopelli Health and Wellness.
Using HGH with good nutrition and supplements results in what some call the fountain of youth.
“You can expect to see an age reversal of anywhere from five to 15 years. Hearts work well, hair grows in darker, people look younger,” Dr. Wezensky says.
Although, doctors warn growth hormone alone are not a quick fix to the aging process. “These are not magic bullets,” warns Lepisto.
“You need that plus, the nutrition, the sleep, and exercise to see the results,” adds Dr. Wezensky.
