Grand Junction, Colo.

It’s the first week of school at Mesa State, and officials are unveiling a new resource to their students. On Tuesday, the school opened the doors to a newly-renovated building that will house both the construction management and mechanical engineering programs. The $1.3 million renovation added eight new classrooms, an electrical lab, and more than 9,000 square feet of high-bay learning labs. The school’s machining program will move from Western Colorado Community College into the remodeled facility next fall.
