If you’re feeling lucky you may want to pick up a Colorado Lotto ticket as it just hit the highest mark in eight years, reaching $11.1 million dollars. The Lotto jackpot hasn’t been hit since last February when a Denver resident won. The drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:35 PM. Although the probability of winning may be slim, News Channel 5 stopped by a local gas station to see what hopeful lottery ticket holders would buy if they won big.
“I would quit my job and travel around the world,” Amy Doane said.
“Pay my bills off and get a new house,” Jeffrey Fogg said.
“I would build several little homes on 20 acres of land so we can have family reunions all the time,” Donald Wase said.
All of the proceeds from the Colorado Lottery stay in Colorado to improve the quality of life in the parks and wildlife protection.
