It’s great to be back in my home state of Colorado! I was born and raised in Pueblo, but I’ve been a nomad ever since I graduated from Arizona State University… a television career sort of does that to you. I’ve had the great opportunity to work and live in many states (Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, and Missouri) but no other state comes close to the greatness Colorado provides me and my family every day.
My television career has been packed with amazing experiences. I’ve reported nationwide from 40 states, 350 towns and cities, Mexico, and Canada on news events affecting millions of people – so I’ve been a part of many stories full of joy, celebration, and triumph, but I’ve also been immersed in stories of great devastation, loss, and pain. I’ve been a part of many newsrooms, reporting on everything that affects us everyday. I also had the opportunity to cover nearly every major flood, snowstorm, heat wave, hurricane, and tornado disaster affecting America for more than three years. It’s been a fantastic ride, but the best has yet to come. I’m excited to be here on the Western Slope and I feel confident about how KREX-TV will provide our viewers their news.
I take on the challenge of leading the KREX-TV news team to serve you, Western Colorado residents. I welcome the task because I feel my experience will provide useable, informative, and important news to the Western Slope every day. I want the responsibility of being your source for local news.
