Adam is a Colorado native and is very excited to be broadcasting sports to viewers from his home state. Born and raised just outside of Denver, he attended Ralston Valley High School in Arvada, where he was a three-year letter winner for the Mustangs' varsity ice hockey team. He decided to stick around Colorado for college, earning a bachelor's degree in Broadcast News from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Colorado-Boulder. He learned from some legendary Colorado sports journalists at CU including Larry Zimmer (play-by-play/color commentator for Buffs football for over 40 years) and Dave Plati (CU Sports Information Director and Asst. Athletic Director for over 25 years).
Additionally, Adam interned for the sports team at KDVR in Denver, where he was able to further his anchoring, reporting, and all-around journalistic skills in a top-20 market. One of the highlights of his internship was being at the Denver Broncos' headquarters in the media room during the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Outside of work, Adam is very passionate about sports (especially college football!), but naturally Colorado teams are #1 in his heart. You are almost guaranteed to hear the phrase "Go Buffs!" if you're anywhere around him on a Saturday in the fall. He also loves the beautiful scenery of the Colorado outdoors, and hikes or camps whenever he has the chance."
