Claire Brandon learned a few years ago that being on the sidelines can be exciting.
A national champion high school cheerleader, Claire loved cheering for football, basketball and baseball. At the University of Oklahoma, she majored in journalism and found her passion in sports reporting. She served as a reporter for OU's athletic department and SoonerSports.com, hosting "The Sounds of Saturday" segment on Coach Bob Stoops' weekly TV show and "Beyond the Arc" during basketball season for the university's in-house production studio.
An award-winning video journalist, her other experience includes newspaper reporting, radio interviews and internships with Fox Sports Southwest, Texas Motor Speedway and KFOR-TV. She's interviewed sports standouts such as Drew Brees, Blake Griffin, Adrian Peterson, Dario Franchitti and Dan Marino. Her travels have taken this Texas native to Yankee Stadium, the NFL Draft, the Ballpark in Arlington and SuperBowl XLV.
