Courtney Griffin

Courtney joined the NewsChannel 5 team as a general assignment reporter in January 2012.
She got her first experience in the newsroom as an intern for KVOA Channel 4 in Tucson, Arizona. She then continued internships at the local Fox and ABC affiliate.
Courtney landed her first job in the newsroom as a News Desk Assistant at KVOA, the NBC affiliate in Tucson. She went on to become an Assistant Producer at Fox, where she learned the "ins and outs" of putting together a newscast.
She graduated from the University of Arizona, with a major in journalism and a minor in communication.
Courtney anchored and reported for Arizona Cat’s Eye, a UA news magazine show on KUAT-PBS. She also reported for UATV, the University’s student-run television program.
She's excited to see all that the Grand Valley has to offer, including hiking on the Monument and wine tasting in Palisade.
