TRAVEL ALERT: for Mountains and Front Range

Colorado emergency officials are issuing a travel alert for the mountains and front range Friday. The State Patrol and CDOT have issued the alert based on the National Weather Service’s forecast. Officials say the storm has potential to create dangerous driving conditions with periods of heavy snowfall and limited visibility. If you are in these areas they are advising you to avoid travel Friday, if you don’t have a choice you need to pack a survival kit in case you become stranded and check warnings and road conditions at cotrip.org.
