There were 19 games, over 140 innings and 323 runs scored in the 2010 Junior College World Series.

Needless to say, the News Channel 5 Sports Team saw a ton of baseball.

Here are the best of the best from this year’s tournament.

Here are News Channel 5’s Top 5 JUCO Plays.

Number 5…

Jamell Certantez from Hutchinson robs Temple’s Zach Cohen.

At Number 4…

Iowa Western’s Ivan Hartle with a terrific diving stop and throw at 2nd base.

At Number 3…

Chattanooga State’ Mike Maxwell turns an unassisted double play to secure the Tigers first win in World Series history..

At number 2…

Iowa Western’s two outs away from the Title, Brent Seifert dives and throws from his knees to get the out.

However, that play wouldn’t have been possible without our top play.

Reivers down to their last strike against Southern Nevada, Seifert hits a two-run walk-off homer to center field.

Iowa Western advances and goes on to win the school’s first ever World Series Championship
