A man is in a Western Slope jail accused of killing his father. Police took Jerry Snider, Jr., into custody for the murder of his father Jerry Snider, Sr., late last week.

Autopsy results confirmed that the elder Snider suffered blunt force trauma injuries in his home on Thursday or Friday. His son, Jerry, Jr,. was arrested for murder and remains in custody.

The autopsy was conducted by the Mesa County Coroner. Both the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Rangely police are still investigating the murder. They are asking the public for any information about Jerry Snider, Sr’s., death by calling 675-1911.
