Prom is right around the corner and on Saturday afternoon people in the Grand Valley had a taste for the latest spring fashions. Whether you’re looking for a classy tuxedo, a sparkling gown or alternative style from Hot Topic, The Prom Fashion Show Extravaganza at the Mesa Mall has it all. Local high school students walked the run-way, modeling over thirty dresses and outfits. Prizes included a Prom Night Limo Package, make-over gift baskets and restaurant gift cards.
“Prom season is just about a month out, so it’s not too early to start planning what you’re going to wear and your plans for the night. It’s a big night and there’s a lot of pieces that need to come together, so it’s not too early to start planning,” said Jammie McCloud, Marketing Director for Mesa Mall.
“I like to encourage everyone to bring out their inner-self and to express themselves through their clothes,” said Hot Topic Prom Model, Ariana Garcia.
Mesa Mall plans to host the event again next year. Deb Shops, Hot Topic, Men’s Wearhouse and Sears Portrait Studio all participated in the show.
