It’s official: the owners of a marijuana dispensary are abandoning their plan to open up shop near a school. The owner of MedTech Modern Care and Wellness Systems off North 12th Street, Greg Davis, said concerns from the school district prompted him to look for a new location.

The medical marijuana shop would have opened less than a mile from a Lutheran School, a church, and a park. Right now, Davis is looking for a new location.
