Two men are on the run after escaping from the Mesa County Criminal Justice Services facility. Authorities are looking for 24-year-old Matthew Hubbard (left photo) and 29-year-old Clinton Jensen (right photo). Officials say the two escaped from the Mesa County Criminal Justice Services building located on South Avenue in Grand Junction around 9:30 Sunday night.
Hubbard was at the facility as part of his sentence after being convicted of sexually assaulting a child. Officials say he is now facing an escape charge.
Jensen was at the center accused of a number of driving-related charges, including vehicular eluding, obstruction, and driving under restraint. Jensen is now wanted on a bond violation.
Officials say if you’ve seen either Hubbard or Jensen to call 911 immediately. Local law enforcement officials have been notified and are on the lookout for the two men.
