Grand Junction, Colo.

The 300 block of Ouray Avenue was shut down as firefighters battled a house fire Saturday afternoon.

The Grand Junction Fire Department was called out just before 1:30 Saturday afternoon. Four fire trucks and two ambulances were called to the scene. Fire officials say no one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

Fire officials believe it was an electrical fire that started in the basement. The fire department estimates that the fire caused around $10,000 in damage.

A family of seven displaced by the fire is being assisted by Red Cross.
