Montrose, Colo.
Ballots are in the mail for voters in the city of Montrose.
The ballots were sent out Thursday for the city’s regular municipal election.
The election is for three city council seats. In District I the candidates are Jesse Bailey, Brent Wallace, and Thomas A. Smits. The District II candidates are Carol A. McDermott and Bill Brougham. Bill Patterson, Raymond J. Rose, and Pat Treacy are vying for the At Large seat.
Ballots must be returned by 7:00 pm on election day, April 6th. They can be returned by mail or in ballot boxes at city hall.
Registered voters who do not receive a ballot should call the city clerk at 240-1435.
Results will be posted at http://www.cityofmontrose.org/2010election after polls close.
