Ouray County, Colo.

A missing Montrose man has been found dead in Ouray County. Montrose Police say 82-year-old Tom Boylan was found dead Thursday morning, he’d been missing since October 20th. Colorado State Troopers found Boylan’s 1990 Suburban off the side of Highway 550 around 10:30 Thursday morning. It had plunged several hundred feet into a ravine.

We’re told Boylan was the only occupant inside the vehicle. It’s not clear if the accident happened recently or weeks ago when Boylan first went missing.

Troopers were still investigating the scene around 10 o’ clock. The highway in that area is shut down in both directions as authorities try to retrieve the vehicle, and there’s no word on how soon the roadway is expected to reopen.
