Grand Junction, Colo.
The Mesa County District Attorney’s son pleads guilty after police discover underage teenagers drinking at Pete Hautzinger’s home. The District Attorney’s son pleaded guilty Wednesday morning to minor in possession and disorderly house charges. He’s been ordered to complete public service, pay fines, and court fees, and attend a drug and alcohol evaluation.
The judge told Hautzinger’s son that it’s rare for minors to be charged with disorderly conduct charges; adults are usually the culprits.
The 24 juveniles and two adults that were at the party in early February were also in court. Most of them pleaded guilty to similar charges.
