I-70 Work Could Slow Down Traffic

A bridge on I-70 is getting a face lift, and it could slow you down for the next several months. The bridge over the Colorado River just west of De Beque is being repaired on the westbound side. Improvements include new pier columns and caps.

The price tag is estimated at just over $1.5 million. Westbound traffic will be cut down to one lane on and off between 7:00 in the morning and 5:00 in the evening until late February.
