Not everyone in Grand Junction gave Governor Ritter a warm welcome this morning.
Right across the street from the graduation ceremony, members of GJRESULT.COM showed their disapproval of the Governor.
The protestors blamed Ritter for raising taxes and the loss of jobs in Grand Junction.
Organizers say Ritter’s visit gave them the perfect opportunity to voice their opinion on the governor.
The protesters did not cause any disturbance to the Mesa State College graduation ceremony across the street at Stocker Stadium.

Ritter has done the same thing the Clinton admin. did with the oil & gas industry in 1993, he dumped it for alternatives. Where are they? He wants to put more money into the study phase again, didn’t the dems campaign that it was here and now? or were they just, campaigning?
The only people who will prosper with alternatives will be the environmentalists, and of course, their favorite polititions. The only jobs that matter to the enviros are their own, they have proven it many times. They have succeeded in killing off the industrial base of this country, who has prospered from that? what will we all get from the enviros? simple, “more of the same”.
As far as raising taxes, the dems went on a huge spending spree after their win in ‘06’, somebody has to pay for their playing don’t they? At least, thats the way they think. More jobs will be lost, more taxes will be raised, 2010 is an election year, REMEMBER.
