Mack, Colo.
Four law enforcement agencies spent Thursday combing through a Mack home. Sources told News Channel 5, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service executed a federal search warrant at a home on 6 Road.
It’s not clear what they are looking for, but they spent the entire day at the property.
According to the Mesa County Assessor site, the home is owned by Chris and Melissa Loncarich. A quick search indicated Chris Loncarich operates a guide and outfitter business. According to a company web site, they specialize in a variety of hunts from Mountain Lion to Black Bears in both Colorado and Utah.
Neighbors on 6 Road say their neighbors at the house that were searched are nice people and they were surprised by Thursday’s search. They say the family has lived there for eight or nine years.
The U.S. Attorney’s office is not commenting on the search and won’t speak on the investigation. Calls made to Loncarich for comment by News Channel 5 were not returned in time for this web article.
The DOW, Utah Department of Natural Resources and the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search.
