Grand Junction police aren’t the only ones investigating the office building with the pot grow. Federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security were at the offices of the U.S. Census Bureau for a few hours on Thursday, which are under the same roof as the marijuana farm.

We talked with a spokesman from DHS, who says federal protection services ensure the safety of more than 9,000 federal buildings and their employees. He said they also work with local law enforcement agencies.

No word on if the DEA plans on getting involved—and making the marijuana grow a federal investigation.
