Colorado’s governor is trying to ease concerns of the state’s residents as the swine flu enters our state. Governor Bill Ritter says that his office and state health officials are taking advantage of all the resources and expertise to stop the spread of swine flu in Colorado.

In a statement from the governor, he says “We have been developing plans for effectively responding to this kind of outbreak for more than 7 years. The planning we’ve done and the lessons we’ve learned are allowing us to respond in a measured and appropriate way.“The state’s health department is currently activated at a Level One, which is full activation for public health.
