Grand Junction, Colo.
Officials with the Census Bureau say they’re responding to air quality concerns at their Grand Junction office. Last week, the office was temporarily shut down after a strong odor prompted some employees to seek medical help. In the suite next door, police found more than a thousand marijuana plants being grown by the building’s owner.
A census spokeswoman says the owner has gotten recommendations to inject foam insulation into the walls, make changes to the air duct system, and install carbon filters.
Officials say an industrial hygienist is conducting air quality tests in the office, and that the Census Bureau will comply with any changes suggested by government agencies evaluating the situation.

Why does the census Bureau continue to stay in this location. With all the availiable office space availiable in Grand Junction a suitable location is availiable. To insist that employees continue to work in environment of questionable air quality is ludacris. That is unless your agenda is to affect Medical Marijuana legislation in Colorado. So bureacrats pull your head out of the shadey space you normally keep it and do something positive for your employees like find them a suitable workspace. Even if it requires you put a little effort into your job.
