If you’re hoping to cash in on your old appliances, you’ll have to wait another month for the Cash for Appliances program. According to the Governor’s Energy Office, the appliance rebate website will be up and running by April 19th. Once the program is ready, you’ll be able to type in your address and your appliance in a statewide database.

The appliances must be Energy Star rated, ranging from refrigerators, dishwashers, and washing machines. Only electric and tankless water heaters will be considered.

The appliance rebate could range from $50 to $500, depending on the appliance. 75,000 rebates for Colorado residents would save about $22 million.
