Nucla

A public-private venture could soon put 20 new gas wells near Nucla, and the BLM wants to hear from you. Redwine Resources, Inc. plans to develop the land just east of the town.

If approved they’ll put in up to 10 new pads and 6.8 miles of pipeline on the surface of public and private lands. The plan includes a production and compression facility. The Bureau of Land Management’s Uncompahgre Office is seeking public input.

You can make those comments in writing no later than February 23. Send your thoughts to Thane Stranathan, Uncompahgre Field Office, 2465 South Townsend Ave., Montrose, CO 81401. Fax: 970-240-5367. Email: .
