Autopsy results are expected on Tuesday in the murder of a Rangely man. Police and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are looking into a potential homicide after authorities got a tip on Saturday that someone may have been murdered in a Rangely home. Officials say the victim is a white man who appeared to have been killed a day earlier.

The Mesa County Coroner has performed an autopsy for the Rio Blanco Sheriff’s Office, but has not released the victim’s name or the cause of death. If you know any details that could help police, call the Rangely Police Department at 675-1911.
